I’m a guest!

Have you visited Sew We Quilt? It is an awesome blog with lots of great information.
Today, I’m a guest and am sharing about one of my favorite tools for raw-edge appliqué,
The Applique Pressing Sheet!
so hop on over there and check it out

I made this little owl for my post to show how I use this wonderful tool

This one is in batiks

And for this one, I used Central Park by Moda
Would you like to make one too?
Here’s a copy of my pattern – send me pictures if you make it 🙂

Happy appliqueing!

Thank you so much for the tutorial, it answers several of my questions about applique with lots of small pieces.
And I love the owl pattern, so I saved it for a future project.

I saw your post at stash manicure and loved it. Your applique instructions were very clear and cleaning the pressing sheet with tulle is such a great idea. I never could get the glue off my sheet well enough so now I will try the tulle. Thanks for the pattern too. The owl is very cute.

Cherry, what an adorable owl and thank you SO much for the pattern! I love your tutorial on Sew We Quilt – I use my applique pressing sheet all the time, but have only used it to build the whole applique piece once or twice. Now I'm inspired to use it this way all the time! Thanks again…
