New pattern and giveaway

Are you ready for an awesome giveaway?
Have you ever made a quilt with
the wonderful and cuddly Shannon Fabrics?
I fell in love with this fabric after making this scarf
And look at these beautiful fabrics…
I absolutely love the bright colors in this line, Izzy
and this one is made with Spice Market
The fabric is very easy to work with,
you just need to use a walking foot to piece,
and after cutting, I found the best thing to do
was take all my cut pieces outside and shake the “cuddle dust” off… Ü
I also kept my vacuum cleaner close by to vacuum often!
You can find more tips for working with this fabric here.
Both quilts are backed with Cuddle fabrics
Love the embossing…
and quilted with my favorite…
These quilts are so comfortable and warm,
they have become favorites in my house!
Would you like to make one of these quilts?
You can find my free pattern here
and here
But even better, would you like to win a kit
with all the fabric, for both the top and back?
We are giving away your choice of 2 kits!

A Free Market Crossing Pattern
6 yards of Shannon Fabrics (choose
Spice Market Basil or Izzy Topaz)

I would HAVE to make a nappy[snuggly pillow] out of this fabric first…then what's a nappy without a blankie…a quilt is also a must! I really like your scarf! Beautiful way to chase away the cold winds of winter!

This is wonderful. Thank you for a chance to win. I have a great nephew due in July. This would be a wonderful gift for him.
What else would I make with it? Some wonderfully soft small blankets that can be carried by the little one.

What a delightful discovery! I never thought of this cuddly fabric for anything but baby quilts, but your quilts are stunning, and so inviting! Thanks for sharing them! This cuddly fabric would also be wonderful for baby toys or a shawl. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

Both those quilts are just gorgeous. I love the fabrics from both with the colors in each. I am still in love with the scarf you made and yet, have not been able to make one yet. Making those scarves are a great way to use cuddle as I'm sure all my friends/family would love one. My granddaughters would be thrilled with stuffed animals made from this fabric. I think making a small blankie for a toddler out of cuddle so they can carry it around such as one my 1 yr old granddaughter has which has a bunny head and then very small blanket bottom would be perfect. Finishing off the edges with satin binding would be awesome for a small child (or anyone really) because toddlers love the sensory feel of satin and combining it with the cuddle too, I'm guessing would probably be their absolute favorite small blankie to carry around everywhere. I'm thinking she may need multiples that look the same so washing them would be much easier since children tend to get attached to one certain blankie and if she had more than one that looked the same, this grandma could trick her and switch them so I could wash the dirty one. 🙂 (You gotta be one step ahead of these kids ya know LOL)

Thank you so much for this wonderful giveaway.

I have not worked with this fabric before but it sounds so toasty warm! Maybe some PJs would be cute! Or some softie toys. But a beautiful quilt is what I would use it for!

    14. Angelia Lanouette says:

These fabrics are beautiful and I think they would make a soft cuddly pillow, blanket, or booties for my mother who lives up north in New England and is always cold. Thank you!

I'm making kennel quilts for local shelters, and for the animal carriers for the pets in our extended family. This fabric would go a long way toward helping everyone travel in style.
