Cherry Blossom that’s me °Ü°

~Ü~

For my project, I chose to work on
this cute little design by Mdm. Samm.
Isn’t she adorable?
I haven’t decided what to make
with her…
thinking about a little pillow,
or maybe a pretty frame?…
Not sure yet,
what do you think?
Thanks Mdm. Samm for the wonderful design.

I also have two other projects
to show you….

  and…

well…they still need a bit more work…

°Ü°

Thanks for coming over!
Happy hopping,

All kinds of cute stitchy things here :). Those 'lil tots are so cute the little girl is my favorite one!! Snowmen quilt is cute but am getting a bit tired of snow …. Two more chances for snow this week , lol

  2. Sewgirl says:

I like your little girl, and the quilting on the background is just lovely. She would make a sweet wall hanging for a little girls room. I like your other projects too. Nice work.

  3. Jeanie says:

Your little tot is darling and your background quilting frames her perfectly! Good luck finishing the other projects too…. love the cat and dog!

  4. Cindy says:

Such a cute little tot, she's adorable! Whatever you decide to do with your embroidered 'panel', it will be so cute! Enjoyed your other projects too 🙂 Happy stitching!

  5. Gwen says:

Your little girl is so cute–I think you should make her into a cute ruffled pillow–and find another cute little girl to give her to!

  6. Madame Samm says:

Oh Cherry she looks vintage….I think a white frame would be befitting…she is soooo darn pretty and with heart which you seem to do with all of your projects…love your projects..snowman quilt perfect…

  7. Linda J says:

The wee tot is adorable! Mdm Samm caught the shyness of the child perfectly, I thought. You did a great job bringing her to life. The quilting along side just enhances it.

  8. Kathy H says:

I think that little girl will be perfect in a cute frame. Your quilting is so nice, it looks like it is already in a frame. Love the snowman quilt too.

Hi Cherry…your little girl is just the cutest, as sweet as can be!! Great job…luv the snowman quilt and of course Lynette's stitchery's are always wonderful. Thanks for sharing!! Happy stitching, Pauline

I love your little girl on the pink dots. I think it would be beautiful on a quilt. I'm going to add it to my list of ideas. It is just so sweet looking. You do a grand job of it! The quilting is gorgeous!

  11. Robin says:

Aw, I love your little girl! She is just the cutest. I really like how you stitched her in black and added just a little splash of color. Good luck on finishing your other project!

  12. Rebecca Grace says:

Your snowman quilt is going to be adorable, and that little girl embroidery reminds me of some hand embroidered dish towels that a great-aunt gave me when I was first married. They have all kinds of holes in them now, but I can't bear to get rid of them — I love seeing those old-school embroideries in my kitchen!

You and I were both working on embroidery blog hops this week, but totally different because mine was machine embroidery, a completely separate species of embroidery altogether! I do think I might like to learn to embroider the old fashioned way someday. It's PORTABLE, for one thing, less variables to go wrong (hooping, stabilizers, needles, thread nests and loops and puckers etc) and probably a lot more relaxing, too. 🙂
