Words for 2013…

It’s my day to share my words for 2013!
I have seen some awesome creations in this hop
and have been so inspired!!!
Thank you Linda of Buzzing and Bumbling

and Mdm. Samm of Sew We Quilt for hosting this great hop!

Ü
Tagxedo is the first thing that came to mind when I signed up for the hop;
it is a great way to create fun word clouds using your own words,
slogans, quotes, etc.
I imported different graphics into Tagxedo,
added my Words for 2013,
and started creating word clouds…
I used this sewing machine…
Then printed my cloud onto fabric that’s been prepared
for printing on an InkJet printer,
added a few borders and a little quilting
and just love how it turned out Ü
In 2013 I want to be more thankful,
inspire and encourage others, be kind,
be a better friend, share my passion with others,
smile and find joy in the little things,
challenge myself and others to grow and learn,
keep dreaming…
and most of all,
LOVE and show compassion like never before…
I made this table topper with a beautiful graphic made by Mdm Samm,
and perfect for a daily reminder to LOVE more in 2013!
And of course, if times get tough,
this one will help me remember to just…
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

That is fantastic! Love them all, but thanks especially for sharing that technique. Did you print it on to white fabric and make the background black with ink? Or did you somehow print the white letters onto black fabric?

Can't wait to play with this!

I haven't been able to visit many of the other blogs (my mother died 2 weeks ago), so I naturally came to yours to see what the "In your words" was all about. I LOVE, LOVE your words/quilt.
My girls were in town and tried to put some order to my sewing room. The patterns that I had ordered from you were on my desk. My older daughter said, "Oh, Mom, I hope that you will now have time to do such as these!"(wreath & tree). Me, too. I have missed my sewing & embroidery for the time that I have helped with our mother.

The sewing machine is amazing! Now I just need to figure out how you did that. I went to the tagxedo site…. I am stumped how to insert words in the image. Could you walk us through the process? I would LOVE that if you have the time. Thanks for sharing in the hop. Janita
