Welcome to my day in the Designer’s Quilt Show, a seven day virtual quilt show, April 6-13. Days one through six feature amazing designers, and on the seventh day, there will be fabulous giveaways you don’t want to miss.
Quilting, sewing and color are my best therapy! I’ve been sewing since age four and fell in love with quilting when I took my first quilting class in 2004.
In 2006 I began sharing my love of quilting, teaching classes at my local quilt shop; later that year, I became a longarm quilter. In 2010 I joined the design world of quilting with my first quilt, Feathered Christmas, followed by Feather Fancy and Autumn Bliss.
In 2014 I began designing fabrics with Contempo Studio of Benartex, had my first embroidery collection with OESD and a pattern packet with C&T Publishing.
I am a proud BERNINA Ambassador and am passionate about encouraging and teaching quilters of all levels. I have taught nationally and internationally for over 4 years now and due to the current situation, will soon begin teaching virtual classes here on my web space.
My latest collections Choose To Shine and Joy are now available world wide. Here are some of the patterns for Choose to Shine, a group filled with words of kindness and inspiration.
Joy is a fun group for the winter season with happy snowman and my fave aqua palette.

You are so gosh darn talented. I’m thrilled you pursued a career using your creative talents. I’m also looking forward to learning about what you are up to for teaching classes virtually. I’m seeing several teachers pursue such, on an informal basis, using the Zoom tool, as well as host virtual quilting retreats. Given the sales of sewing machines have skyrocketed, I think there is also a need for beginner classes, but definitely virtual classes of any topic will help bring joy and creativity, especially with you.
