I love the escape – separation from whatever's going on in my 'real' life. If I sit down to quilt with a lot of things on my mind, they gradually fall away as I immerse myself in math and color and focus on precision.

The "owl be home for Christmas" kit is too cute. It would be the perfect accessory for my studio – Night Owl Quilting & Dye Works! Thanks for a great giveaway.

How can I possibly pick just one thing I love about quilting? 🙂 I suppose I'll choose the way I feel when I make something beautiful or cute or useful and give it to someone else – there's just nothing like it!

That owl in the Santa hat is ADORABLE! I love your chair block, too. What I love about quilting is that the possibilities are endless–there's always a new technique and a new design idea.

The best part of quilting(I'm more of a crafter than a quilter) is all the fantastic fabrics,no matter how much fabric I have I can always find a new line or 2 that I love and want.

Volume 7? Whohoo! I have Volume 8 coming in the mail and I missed #7. I even looked at Amazon yesterday and it was unavailable. I'm addicted to quilting. It is my therapy. It also lets me be creative and make something awesome out of things (scraps) my friends threw away. Thanks for the chance to win.

Making a quilt is a way to express myself. I love the whole process. I like the fact that you can take fabric peices, cut them up, then sew them back together to create something entirely new and beautiful.Thank you so much for a wonderful giveaway.

My favourite thing about quilting is finding other people who love to sew and sharing the creative process with them. I love being able to talk about colour combination and scrappy or solid bindings. It is a joy and brings stability to my life, I am always happier and less stressed when I am able to quilt.
