I am seeing dots, dots, dots….
and loving all of the fun, dotty blocks
that have been shared in this
Blog Hop hosted by Corrie at Quilt Taffy

And thank ya’ll for coming over to see my dotty blocks… 
First is my little apron…
I love aprons and have been collecting patterns,
books, and fabric to make them but….
…well, that’s it, haven’t sewn any yet, lol,
except for this one, he he!
I found most of my blocks in EQ,
and had to make this little bug…
of course, since I drive an orange vehicle
I had to make this little car in orange! 
Now, I don’t know why,
but here lately I go crazy every time I see
fabric with chairs! I know, crazy…
But isn’t this a cute little chair?
And the hat? Well, just had to make it too…
The lady bug was a perfect fit for a block with dots!
I first tried to use a red dotty fabric,
but decided to just make the dots out of white fabric…
And last… well, I actually had a few more planned…
my little red phone….
Remember these? …guess that dates me a little, lol!

    These blocks are wonderful and it's difficult to choose my favorite, but if I'm forced to choose, I'd have to go with the chair. Simply adorable! Thanks for sharing your work today.

    I love your blocks. Vibrant and fun. They all look wonderful, but I LOVE the chair block. I've always dreamt about owning a chair like that, sadly no room to put it anywhere….. It is somewhat like you and your aprons, or me and pink refrigerators….. You did a great job.

    Your blocks are so cute and it is sew hard to decide of a favorite. But I fell in love with the dotted telephone. I had a red old telephone several years ago.

    All of your blocks are beautiful! It is hard to pick just one as a favorite, however, my choice would have to be the Red Telephone, you see I retired from the telephone company after 35 years and wow that telephone block is just AWESOME! Thanks

    I am really enjoying the blog hop and getting to visit new blogs. I think your blocks are all fun but my absolute favourite has to be the apron as I love aprons and it is done in aqua which is my colour. Thanks for the giveaway.

    Loved each and everyone of your blocks but if you want a favorite it would be the apron , simply because I also love aprons and especially vintage style aprons which this one seems to resemble .Thanks for sharing !!

    I love all those blocks. I think my favorite is the apron block. I have made several aprons and my favorite is one made with fabric with aprons on it. It always makes me laugh.

    Oh, what a fun group of blocks! They are all just set so strikingly too. Oh, I must age myself too as I remember the phone too – in fact, just replaced my Mom's old rotary phone – with a lot of struggle and she still can't get use to the new phone!! She brings it to me every time it rings because she doesn't remember which button to push.

    Cherry your dotty blocks are darling!! Like you, I collect apron patterns — I love them! And I've actually made four (but I won't tell you how many patterns I have waiting for me — LOL)!! So I guess it goes without saying that the apron block is my favorite. Second favorite would be the hat — I'm a girly-girl! Great job! 🙂

    I've been a follower forever!! I love the hat block. MY mother was known as The Hat Lady at church and always wore a hat with gloves. I now collect hats in memory of her!! Your hat block would be such a lovely addition to honor my sweet mama.!!Blessings

    Cherry-Love your dotty blocks. What a great idea with the aprons as there are so many styles of aprons. I also like your hat and phone blocks. The phone is probably my favorite and will become a classic as the land line is slowly disappearing in many areas in favor of the mobile one. So sad! I guess it will go the way of other important inventions that we have used like the typewriter. Thanks for sharing, from California.

    It was really difficult choosing a favorite block, they were all so cute! I would say that I like the chair best! Probably because I have a real chair very similiar to that one 🙂

    Oh, gosh. Your blocks are just darling, so charming. I think my favorites are the chair, the hat, and the apron. Just can't narrow it down further than that.

    I had to laugh at your comment about loving apron patterns and collecting apron patterns but not having made any until now. It's funny how that work, isn't it? For awhile, thinking about making a certain quilt or pattern can be nearly as much fun as doing it. Congrats on taking the next step. What a cute block you have to show for it!

    These are all darling blocks but my FAVORITE is the one with the orange car. A long time ago I had an orange convertible VW Beetle that I adored but had to sell for a more sensible 4 door family car when the second baby came along. I've missed it everyday since! Your block reminded me of many happy times in that car!

    OMG Cherry, you sure do love dots…and all your blocks are happy and fun…they put a smile on my face. The apron is adorable, probably my favorite…and the chair and the hat are sEw chic, luv them too. The VW Beetle and the red polka dot phone is sweet…and that is just the cutest ladybug block.
