I love the escape – separation from whatever's going on in my 'real' life. If I sit down to quilt with a lot of things on my mind, they gradually fall away as I immerse myself in math and color and focus on precision.

The "owl be home for Christmas" kit is too cute. It would be the perfect accessory for my studio – Night Owl Quilting & Dye Works! Thanks for a great giveaway.

How can I possibly pick just one thing I love about quilting? ๐Ÿ™‚ I suppose I'll choose the way I feel when I make something beautiful or cute or useful and give it to someone else – there's just nothing like it!

That owl in the Santa hat is ADORABLE! I love your chair block, too. What I love about quilting is that the possibilities are endlessโ€“there's always a new technique and a new design idea.

The best part of quilting(I'm more of a crafter than a quilter) is all the fantastic fabrics,no matter how much fabric I have I can always find a new line or 2 that I love and want.

  9. Margaret says:

I love quilting because it brings so much joy to the person that receives it . I also love it because being able to cut fabric up and put it back together is such a joy.

My favourite thing about quilting is finding other people who love to sew and sharing the creative process with them. I love being able to talk about colour combination and scrappy or solid bindings. It is a joy and brings stability to my life, I am always happier and less stressed when I am able to quilt.
