I new it would be a chair!
I usually draw on my computer,

Such a clever block! My favourite quilting design is cross hatching! It seems to go with a lot of block designs!
Love your chair! I love hearts and flowers in quilting, cheesy but I'm drawn to them 🙂
I'm an upholsterer so I love chairs! in fact the chairs I'm working on at the moment are not unlike your block!
Oh, MY!!! LOVE your chair block! Your quilting is to die for and absolutely sets off that block! You did a wonderful job with your block! Congratulations on having it published! I just cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of Volume 7! I get so many wonderful ideas for projects from the 100 Blocks issues!!
Your quilting is fabulous!! Thanks for the chance to win.
well I love crazy quilting….Love all those gorgeous little stitches and how each piece is a delight to the eyes.
Your block is great and the fabric choices are perfect! I haven't done any chairs in my quilting (although maybe I need to!). I have done a fair number of flowers and birds.
Your chair block is beautiful. I have never though to make a chair quilt. Fan4may at aol dot com
There is a chair upholstered with a quilt at my lqs, but I haven't ever quilted a chair. I've been doing baskets and hexies lately.
I must say I've never appliqued a chair but yours is stunning! I'm partial to flowers and birds, traditional I suppose.
Great chair! Love how you quilted your block! I love stars.
I never thought about making a chair quilt but your quilt is gorgeous! I love how you quilted it! The Blog hops are so much fun as I get to see so many different designers. Thanks for a chance to win. Quiltmaker is my favorite magazine.
I love flowers in a quilt. Congratulations on having a block chosen.
You are so creative – love the chair! I'm working on hexies now.
I am a scrap quilter, so I like making all colors and prints work together into a pleasing design.

That is so cute and original! I'm really into stars right now, but that could change tomorrow. Thanks.
I often quilt with fabric that has birds or butterflies on it. Most any animal on the fabric will make me smile though.
WOw. Very creative use of that fabric. Always wanted a doll house. Maybe I could have a quilt instead.
I'm working on an endless EPP hex quilt, some hex Ispy quilts, and a Candied Hexagon quilt. Hmmm. I see a theme there.
I will love trying out fabrics for this chair. Sometimes to best part of a chair is the fabric covering it.
Oh my goodness…your block is sew adorable! For some reason I'm liking farm scenes right now. I'll most likely be on to another craze tomorow. LOL Thanks sew much for this chance to win 😀
Your chair block is wonderful! I am into teapots and coffee cups – a quilt with all different styles and piecing methods, applique, etc.
Thanks for the giveaway!
what a beautiful quilt with so much detail
I love your chair block. The quilting detail on it really adds to the effect and the design. I like to use flowers in my quilts. I had never thought of using chairs. Very nice!
Well, I must admit, I have never thought of using a chair in a quilt pattern — I do more scrappy piecing. …I like your block — have to think about how I might use it.
I never thought about using chairs! It is an adorable block.
Oh my goodness what a fun block. Love the lamp and clock and quilting for the wall and floor. Sweet! I've not done a chair. Flowers are probably what I've used more of than anything.
Your block is wonderful. I love chairs as well and I am always on the lookout for ones just like this one. You really did a beautiful job. I love it.
Your chair is great! And the quilting is awesome! I love quilts of all kinds. I love to look at quilts with lots of detail and your block fits that bill. Lots of great detail and imagination.
Adorable block! I would have to say my favorite would be snowflakes! However, I have found that many star blocks can be made to look like a snowflake if you make it in wintery colors!
As soon as your blog opened, I thought I "know" her – from blog hops. I haven't participated; I just comment on everyone else's creative posts. I love the chair. For me, it brings back memories of what I thought was a large chair at my grandmother's house. I felt like a princess sitting in her special chair. I adore the bling on the clock. My eye was naturally drawn to the chair and then I spotted the clock and the lampshade. You are a creative lady and I love the quilt. Thank you for a generous giveaway, too!
I am not a that talented like you are. Your block includes a chair, a lamp and a clock. There is no way I could ever become a designer. I am so lucky just to do squares and rectangles. Maybe even a pinwheel. Your block is just so cute and you are so talented. This would be so cute in my great grandnewpher's bedroom or even in my quilting area. Thank you so much for the chance to win.

I really like baskets in quilts too but your chair block is wonderful. And I love bling..
I don't know how to do a block like this. I barely sew two pieces of fabric together to form a block. I do however love seeing all the work of you very talented designers.
Love your block and I think it would make a fun wall hanging or maybe a set with different fabrics.
I think I have more cats in my quilts, than anything and sometimes they pop up in quilts that had none;)
Debbie
Good morning Cherry! I love your chair and cannot wait to make it. Love the tip on drawing half and mirroring, I drive myself crazy sometimes trying to draw the other half of something. I am usually drawing from nature, flowers, birds and the like.
OMG, the quilting in this quilt really made it special. Very nice job.
I have done a chair quilt. (Just sharing.) I tend to fall for the primitives but I am in no way a designer. That's why I call myself a preserver of patterns. Leave that to the pros!
I love the use of the quilting to extend the design of the chair and the room it is in.
i have to say dragonflies are ending up in a lot of my quilts lately
Beautiful chair and quilt! I think you do amazing quilting!
hulseybg at gmail dot com
your chair is wonderful. I love how antique it looks. I really love your FMQ. I just started yesterday with some simple loops.
I've never even thought about a chair in quilting—great block.
I am in awe of your quilting – I can piece but not able to quilt like that as of yet. I am working on improving my skills. I love the way the quilting really makes the wainscoting in your block – adds depth. thanks Cindy W. at cwienstroer@amuniversal.com
What a cozy chair, and your clock and the quilting is a piece of art. Someday I will learn free motion quilting.
Beautiful block. I do alot of scrappy pieced quilts so when I see blocks like this I really admire the quilters that do them…One day I will try my hand at a block like this. Thank you for your chance to win.
thim3@hotmail.com
What a great chair and clock. I love your fabric choices and the quilting is exquisite! I need to brush up on my FMQ. I'm a little rusty. Thank you for the great block!
I love the fourth block with the chair, lamp and clock. The quilted half wall is awesome. Usually, I prefer paper piecing, but this block could make me take up applique, a technique I have avoided as it involves fussy work with a hot iron.
Love your chair!! Your quilting and the clock are also fabulous. When I get a chance, I like to include a cat in my quilts (but most of mine don't have a place for one…). I think I will start adding one on my backing s-maybe as part of the label? You just gave me a great idea!! Thank you!!
What a cute block.
Great block! You did a beautiful job with the quilting. I would love to incorporate flowers into my quilting but I'm not good enough yet with freemotion. Someday when I retire I'll have more time to practice.
I agree there is something about chairs, and your quilting really makes the block come aline.
Love your block – what detail! Flowers are my favorite to include in quilts.
I love this block! I have been appliqueing a lot of flowers lately. I think it is because I wanted spring to be here so bad! Thanks for the chance to win!
Wonderful chair. ANd your quilting is just beautiful. I like to have stars in my quilts but that chair is just so cute, I will need to make a pillow to put on my favorite chair! Chair pillow for the chair. That will make me laugh!
How original is this! My favorite quilting designs would be cats or dogs.
I am a beginner quilter but I fell in love with dresdens & fans. My mom passed-down to me a whole box of delicate "blades" to work with.
Congratulations!! Your block is just darling and you did such a nice job on it.
I always like shadow quilting, but I doubt there is a quilting type that I do not find beautiful.
I love stars in quilt designs – so many variations! Your chair block is adorable – probably one of the most unique blocks I've seen….and I love the bling!
Gorgeous chair, I just love it! I haven't done FMQ for a long time, but I try to improve my skills with flowers.
I haven't tried this kind of detail yet – but I'm intrigued enough to consider making a bag with this design (my Mom would LOVE it!!) I'm pretty new to quilting, so I haven't got a favourite yet, but I like symmetry (stars, chevrons, cross-hatching..)
I can't say that I have a favorite motif, but your chair is fun.
While I like chairs, I tend to be a flower person =) Love the details though, very pretty block.
Wow your block is fabulous!! So creative! I think I like to include flowers as a detail in my quilts. Thanks for sharing a copy of 100 Blocks.
I like your cute chair block!!
My favorite is flowers or stars
Wow! Such detail! Most of my quilting is pieced quilts. I love stars the most.
I love, love, love your block – it's now on my to-do list! Can't wait to see the magazine and all these wonderful blocks.
The chair is so cute! I usually piece quilts.
Your chair is as cute as a button! I love it! Your quilting is exquisite. I can see why you have been so busy.
My teenage granddaughters would love a pillow with your block.. so cute…
Favorite design in a block is a pinwheel or churn dash – but wait I have one of those chairs in my living room!
That's so cute! I definitely want to make that block next time I need to feature a focus fabric. My favorite design in quilting is probably anything to do with shoes – in the pattern, the fabric or the quilting! Thanks for the chance to win!
How delightful! I'd buy this issue just for this block! I love using nature in my quilting – dragonlies especially.
Great block and awesome quilting!!!!
I let the quilts tell me how to quilt it:) Yes I am a quilt whisperer:) ha ha!!!
Congratulations on having your block in the book!
"Congratulations!" How "old" does an object need to be to be "Retro"? My oldest is approx 162 years and youngest 48.
So enjoyed visiting you today!
thank you for the chance to win
I am a traditional quilt most of the time and venture outside my comfort zone occasionally. 😉 Congratulations on having a block in this volume. I really love it!! Thank you!
Very nice block, congrats and thanks for a chance to win.

I love your block. I like stars in my quilts.
cherietwilliams@hotmail.com
My favorite design in quilt blocks is stars. Reading above, it seems that is a popular choice!
I'm amazed that you made a quilt block that pictures a chair. It has so much charm. I'm not sure I have a favorite design for quilts, but I do love house blocks as well as star block.
What a cute block. I like to make squares with paper piecing animals and then next old fashioned quilt blocks.
I would never have thought to pick a chair, but this is wonderful! My favorite motif is a star…
I do like YOUR chair, and I love that LAMP! I'm big on scrappy and improvisational piecing. But you do give me inspiration.
I don't know if I have a favorite quilting design, but that chair of yours is definitely cute! I love the way your quilting suggests wallpaper.
Your chair design is one of the most unique designs I've seen on a quilt. Thank you for sharing!
love the design
Honestly…I'm speechless. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I don't think I have a favorite yet…. but I could totally see your block on a bag! It just made my top 5 from what I've seen so far that I want to make…and I'm sticking around as a new follower! Thank you so much for thinking outside the block! (And the quilting? PERFECTLY RETRO!)
I love your chair design, and find myself looking past the lamp and clock to see what else is in the block room 🙂 Awesome! My favorite designs are guitars. Having a picking husband and a strumming 5 yr old son, I'm always on the lookout and doodling 🙂 Congrats on your wonderful block!
What a whimsical block! And the clock and lamp added to one of the blocks? Wonderful. And the quilting is great. I'm going to follow your blog. Thanks for the chance to win the magazine!
Love the chair design. I don't do much applique so my favorite designs would have to be traditional blocks.
Amazing! I love all of the little details in your block. I don't think I have a favorite design, unless it is a Dresden plate. Thanks for the chance to win a copy of the magazine.
Your block is so cute. Grats on being in the magazine.
My favorite design would have to be applique flowers. One of these days I will tackle a huge bouquet for my wall. I probably like the flowers because I am allergic to a lot of them in RL.
CUTE Chair. Just one block with the clock and lamp and there's a wall quilt mini. Love the BLING. I am happy to see all of the fun blocks in this issue. Enjoying visiting NEW Blogs too. Thanks for a chance to WIN.
OMGosh! Now how cute is that chair. Great block!
Love your cute chair & the quilting is wonderful. I like house blocks & star blocks & lately I've been really attracted to cross blocks. Thanks.
Not only is it a great block…the quilting is fantastic. Thanks for the chance to win. Hugs
Wow, That chair is amazing! I wish I had a real one like that! The quilting is fantastic as well! I don't really have a favorite quilting style, I'm willing to try anything at least once 🙂
I love applique and that old style chair is adorable. Can't wait to make it.
love to win thanks
i love this

djoekie
Your chair is wonderful. I love piecing blocks and also enjoy paper piecing.
Love your block, Congrats. Thanks. My last quilt I quilted in circles and I really liked it. It is a pieced quilt
Oh, such a sweet block. Love the little clock. I seem to do a lot of applique flowers.
Love your chair block. Thanks for the chance to win.
Great block! Looks lovely with the quilting! I love birds applique or stitched.
How cool your block design is. I love appliqueing or stitching snowmen. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
I really like floral patterns for actual quilting. The quilting for your block is amazing. It really makes it look like the chair is in a room. Could be fun to change the "wallpaper" patterns and chair covers for a more varied quilt. Darling block.
Congratulations on your block being published. It's lovely. My favorite quilting design is whatever I'm working on at the moment 😀 Very fickle, don't you think?
Thanks for a chance to win.
Cool Block! I love stars. Cannot get enough of them.
I love your chair. I like odd, ecclectic patterns. Or strange vintage patterns.
Love your block!! Don't have a favorite, just like to quilt.
This has to be my favorite block so far! Love the chair, and I can have such fun picking fabrics for it! And love what to me is retro vintage fabric patterns (yes I was born a long time ago), so fun to see the youngsters loving the 50's & 60's inspired colors and patterns. Thanks for the chance!
How cute! That would be fun to make and decide what color or fabric to make it. Thanks for sharing.
I love your chair block – its adorable! The fabrics are fun and your quilting is just WOW! Beautiful. Have a super day!
I like stars best but your chairs is very sweet.
I love flowers – especially applique. I also love your chair block. So original!

I love to applique birds or any animals. Cute chair!
birds of any kind is my fave theme and have collected lots of pix of them for inspiration. love your chairs, but i saw birds when i looked at your setting. thanx for the chance to win a copy of this marvelous magazine.
Just wonderful. And the clock – no more words for it. I prefer machine piecing from scraps string and I love flying geese.
I like chickens. Yup, chickens. And roosters. I could totally see a chicken roosting on the arm of your chair.
Your machine quilting is outstanding! Love the whimsey of your piece. I'm not skilled enough with my free motion to accomplish some of the designs I dream up, but I'm very partial to frogs, dragonflies and bees!
I love stars. The open spaces on your quilt are absolutely beautiful. I could see using your block to make a throw for my living room! Thank you for the chance to win.
I absolutely LOVE your block. The chair is just too cute but your quilting is fabulous. I really love the way you did so many different directions separating sections of your block to make them each stand out. Just awesome.
I haven't done applique yet so I can't say what my favorite design would be but, I have a number of blocks on my list of things to do and most of them have flowers including bias stems and the leaves, not just a flower head itself.
Your chair is adorable! I tend to like any kind of house block, but I also have several cat quilts!
I loved the quilting in your chair block. I like to do flowers and stars and butterflies in free motion quilting. Everyone thinks they are hard to do, but it's really very easy with a little practice.
Wow! your chair is stunning!! I love flowers and birds as motifs.
Hi!!! Very cute!!! Love the clock and lamp too!!! I love flowers, cats, and birds!!!! I could put a cat on your chair!!! Hee hee Thanks for the fun!!!!
truly divine..I think I will take a seat…congrats my dear…
I would definitely have one of my furry little children sit with me in that chair with maybe a cuppa on the table. Congratulations to you from Judy C in NC
Your block just blows me away! Love the design and the quilting. I usually pick designs with stars and/or hearts, but as my skills improve, I look forward to trying new things.
Your block just blows me away! Love the design and the quilting. I usually pick designs with stars and/or hearts, but as my skills improve, I look forward to trying new things.
Wow!! That is awesome quilting. I like flowers and stars.
WOW That is great. I love that clock too. Thanks for sharing
This is fabulous!
Great block! So unique. It would make a great wall-hanging.
Wow – amazing block. I've never made a block like this before – maybe now's the time! Thanks for sharing!
I have a friend who is an interior decorator and you can bet I'm going to make this block into a pillow for his home.. LOVE IT!
Love the chair and especially the quilting you choose. Very creative
I don't have a favorite design yet. I am still new to quilting and I love everything I see. I want to try it all. Love the block.
I really love the chair and most especially the way you quilted the block. I also enjoyed your tutorial Amore. Thanks for the chance to win a book!
Wow! Your chair is gorgeous. I am just learning and starting with traditional blocks, but would love to learn how to do your chair.
I love this block and am intimidated by it at the same time. Your quilting on it is beautiful.
I'm currently a fan of pinwheel blocks, I have way to many patterns that involve them. I've started paper piecing a bit more lately. I also have been studying the actual quilting of pieces. I love how the quilting enhances your chair block. It makes the chair all that more cool looking. ll_gee at Hotmail
My favorite is cats. But I love you chair too!
I love your quilting it brings a lot of life to your quilt. Right now I am very fond of cathedral windows and half square triangles
I never would have thought of a chair. I tend to like geometrics and stars.
I love chairs, too! My favorite quilt theme seems to be stars, though! 🙂
Cool block! Love the retro feel to the block and the quilting on the example. Lately I have been working with lots of flying geese. Congrats on being published and thanks for the chance to win!
I love antiques and anything retro….just adorable. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
None of the designs I use can compare with the originality of your chair. I love using HSTs, but they seem kind of tame compared to your upholstery. And, I have to say, as much as I like the chair, the lampshade totally cracks me up! Congratulations on your block being included in Volume 7!
I've never made anything as complicated as your chair, but I absolutely love it and now feel that I have a challenge in my future.
Your block made me grin from ear to ear…love it! I'm a big fan of quilting daisies or dahlias … and I'm a sucker for any fabric with birds on it. 🙂
I think I like medallion quilts best as you can add whatever designs you like. I use flying geese a lot! Your chair block would be fun and unique!
Your block is precious! The quilting is fantastic. I happen to love anything with either dogs or teapots. 🙂
As far as "regular" quilty items are concerned, I love star blocks. But I also like house blocks. Some of the paper-pieced ones with porches (and porch chairs) are unreal!
Cherry, you made me laugh! I have a penchant for chairs & have numerous in my home that are unique, don't match, but are mine! I love your block & would say my favourite quilty technique is applique. Thanks so much for a chance at the give-away!
mgw070 at shaw dot ca
I love all things retro, the clock is what really caught my eye…awesome block.
Your block makes me think of Grandma's house – a warm feeling.
I am not sure I have a favorite – I like the way scraps come together and create wonderful shapes and secondary shapes – I like the accuracy of paper piecing and I like the versatility of applique. I am pretty wishy-washy with quilts, I can be swayed in many directions!
Great quilting on a great design
Amazing quilting. Your block is like a little piece of art!
Awesome block. Thanks for the opportunity to win a copy of the magazine.
I like leaves, I can cut them easily, and machine quilt with leaf motifs. Thank you for the chance at the giveaway.
I love feathers, I know, very traditional, but I like the funky ones too!
Cute! I like chairs too. I have a small collection of vintage children's chairs. I guess my favorite design in quilting would be little houses or flowers. Thanks!
Congrats on having your block in Vol. 7! I love your chair block. I can't say I have anything thing in particular I use unless it would be a peacock. If I find a fabric, pattern or anything with this theme of colors I am all over it!
Cherry I love the quilting on your quilt, especially in the white blocks on point! Wow it's beautiful. The chair and the quilting are just fabulous! I have been quilting circle motifs lately like pebbles. I would love to win a copy of your chair quilt pattern in the magazine.
I LOVE stars in quilts! I really love quilts that have a star in the center as a medallion!
I am a fan of scrap quilts, so the scrappier the better for me. Your chair is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing it with us. 🙂
Congratulations on your block! Not just for being published but what a fun chair!! Thank you!!
~Christina in Cleveland.
I love the quilted wallpaper and wainscoting!
That chair is outstanding! My favorite design is probably a house.
I like scrap quilts but your chair is adorable!
Cherry, you are so artistic and creative. Love that chair block and the marvelous way you quilted it. I don't have a favorite but I'm thinking I may decide on CHAIRS!! 🙂
Love to work with 54/40 block.
I just love your chair block – I pinned it as soon as I saw it on the quilty pleasures blog 🙂 I love Laurie Wisbrun's Perfectly Perched chairs so yes, I do love the chair design and I love your bling clock as well – can't wait to make a pillow from your block 🙂
Stars are my favorite quilt design, but your chair block really made me smile!
I love when I can put two blocks together and get a secondary design with a lot of movement.
My favorite quilting design is cats, but I really like your retro chairs and block. Can't wait to see it in the book.
What an elegant block! It is so lovely and the quilting is amazing! I love doing applique and embroidery and love it when I can use one or both in my quilt blocks.
Thank you and Quiltmaker for a super giveaway and a chance to win.
usairdoll(at)gmail(dot)com
I love pinwheels or some variation of pinwheels. Very cool chair block! 🙂
what a wonderful square, not sure if I have favorites, I use a lot of star blocks, and I am getting ready to start applique, I want to make a bird quilt
I love sawtooth stars and pinwheels. Your chair is great! Thanks for sharing and for the giveaway!
I would love to curl up with a book or work on a quilt in your chair!
my favorite kind of blocks are stars, all kinds of stars.
So, share, is there a significance to the time set on your clock??
You have a very nice block and I just love the quilting on it! Birds and flowers turn me on and I really like lots of reds and whites. Thanks for the chance to win.
Your block is so cute! I would never have thought of a chair. I live in the Rockies & love the wildlife – elk, deer, bears, etc. and leaves & trees blocks. Congrats on having your block in the magazine. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
I really like your chair, and usually chairs aren't my thing. Just goes to show when you follow your heart, you can make others see the same thing you do. Normally, I like stars. I want to make a Space Owl quilt with lots of yellow and white stars on a dark background.
Wow, how to choose my favorite block design! My current favorite is Burgoyne Surrounded, a two-color traditional block. However, I change rather frequently, and it's definitely difficult to just pick one. I'm sure I could mention at least ten more designs. I do LOVE your chair block and can see it with perhaps some animal print on the chair…OK, can't wait for this issue! Thanks a bunch!
Wow! What an amazing block. The block looks a little difficult for a newbie like me. My favorite blocks are machine embroidery designs.
The chair is just beautiful. Creative!
My favorite quilt block design is the churn dash, but I also really like appliqued birds and flowers. Your chair block is really cute, and I love the quilting on it.
I absolutely adore your Retro Chair block! I would love to make one! I like stars and scrappy quilts. Thank you! anglanouette(at)gmail(dot)com
I absolutely love your chair!! I love applique, and my favorite patterns/subjects are vintage kitchen items. Thanks for the chance to win!
wigglypup2(at)yahoo(dot)com
I love your chair block. I am a fan of star blocks.
Your quilt is just gorgeous I totally love the chair and your quilting gives it the look of sitting in a room – so perfect! I have not been quilting that long and have not done enough of it yet to really decide on a favorite. I have yet to do an applique quilt so at this point with what I have done so far pieced stars are my favorite.
While chairs are awesome, that I agree, I mostly like to design (ok-doodle: sloths, octopuses and owls). Weird animals that look cute. Thanks for the chance to win a signed copy! And congrats on your block. The quilting in the table runner is marvelous!
I love your chair! My favorite designs are always applique.
I love your block-it looks just like a room with all the cool quilting..it is so good! I like whatever strikes my fancy at the time-I am quilting flowers on a Jayhawk quilt for my self, and whatever looks good on another one right now. Thanks for the giveaway and congratulations on being in the magazine. vickise at gmail dot com
Very fun design. Hmm love dragonflies but not butterflies!?
The chair is certainly a great one. Reminds me of the chair that my grandmother had in her living room – the chair we could never sit in. I'm waiting very impatiently for Volume 7 – I have a need to get started reading it.
Right now I am really loving all the little birds showing up in quilt land! But your retro block is great, and I especially like the clock!
I love the chair. I think we had a lamp shade that shape when I was growing up. Thanks for the chance to win.
A very elegant chair.
I love your chair! Thanks for sharing with us all.
I have never made anything like this design but I'm planning a gad for a friend celebrating a "Golden Year" birthday and This would be a perfect pattern. thanks for the Cool design.
I saw this block in another post, and I love it! IT's so cute!
I am a traditional block girl but am really liking some of the more modern blocks. Loving the chair quilt! Thanks for the giveaway.
What a unique idea to create the chair. I like traditional pieced designs, particularly from
the Civil War era
Cherry your chair is adorable.
I like to work with star blocks and patterns. Your chair is neat and I like how you quilted the background of the block to look like a floor and wall. Thank you for a chance to win.
I like stars in quilting.
I love your colors and of course
I love your chair block. I'm just starting to work fusible applique b/c I can't do needleturn. Hurts my hand too much and I'm not good at it. I've never made a chair block before, but I might try yours. I have done flowers a lot though. They are easy.
I love churn dash and feathered star blocks – and your chair is way too adorable.
Great block, truly unique.
No.. not chairs until now, I must have a go at your block though. The wall paper is exotic too. My favourite subject has been bird applique because I love birds. They just fly into my head while I am designing a new block and take up a pose on the nearest branch and stay put. Perhaps it has something to do with the new bird bath I installed? :)grace(at)amnet(dot)net
I love log cabin quilts.
What a cute chair! And I love the quilting in the block.
I like an overall quilting design with little surprises tucked into it (like leaves with maybe a little bunny peeking out or so on).
I generally gravitate towards pinwheels of some sort. As a non-sketcher, your chair is beyond my ability. I really admire your quilting also. Great job. swalker287 (at)aol(dot)com
Definitely something different in your block…I have made a highchair for a baby quilt. Your block looks to be quite the challenge. Love how you quilted it. Sandi
Thanks for the chance. Your chair block is so very different and gorgeous too! I love the colors and details of the birds and flowers. I like to make variations of 9-patches as within that grid of 9, most any block variation can be used. I'm not that great at the hand quilting motifs though, and usually follow the piecing lines. One day I may learn to FMQ using my sewing machine. Congratulations on your block being selected for QUiltmaker's 100 Blocks Volume 7.
Your chair is AWESOME. I'm so impressed with it. I really like star blocks, but I'll have to try your block out!
I absolutely love your chair block! Such imagination.
It is just wonderful and I realy love the quilting. I'm pretty partial to different, interesting stars. Thanks for the chance to win.
Gorgeous chair block, and the quilting is divine! That is the sort of quilting I hope to be able to do….one day.
Love your chair and is beautiful ad all the other work you do. I love everything about quilting and really enjoy learning new things!
Wow that is awesome! Thanks for the chance
That block is amazing! I would love to make something with it, and have no idea what it would be yet, but know I would love it! The quilting is sweet.

The quilting on your chair block is amazing. This is such a cute block that it makes me want to learn to applique so can make it!
I missed the giveaway but wanted to let you know how much I like your block. Too cute!
I love your block. I like your idea of drawing out half of the picture then scanning it into the computer. I like brights. I'm still learning so I am still unsure of my own style.
Did you pick a winner?
Adorable block and so beautifully quilted, nice going :0).
I love circles and words on quilts and I am trying to get better
at both.
Happy Sewing

Your retro chair is so chic and I love the clock! Birds and flowers seem to be a repeating pattern for me. I love nature. Thx for the chance to win the magazine. I usually make a few blocks out of them.
