Oh my word, this little wall hanging was started probably 3 years ago!!!
I got this pattern, and several other, from Bigfork Bay Cotton Company,
and the detail to their patterns is crazy, but absolutely love the results.
This little quilt measures 27″x33″
This little quilt measures 27″x33″
Some of the little shoes measure 3/8″ and some are even smaller!
Love the clothesline – I used cotton yarn – love the 3D effect
I will be stitching the raw-edge applique when I quilt it, using the smallest needle so the little pieces don’t unravel – wish me luck!!!
This is another Bigfork quilt I’m working on – yeah, it needs to be quilted, but this one is going to require some serious time to make it look realistic – tons of thread painting, so I have lots of homework studying tigers before I can tackle this one.
I made it for my husband’s office – to hang behind his desk, but…
not the best idea for an HR office…lol

Have a lovely day,
Adorable little quilt. I haven't heard of Bigfork, but will certainly look into them now. The tiger is incredible.
Oh My! Those are some itty bitty shoes but oh my, that wall hanging is adorable! And the tiger is fabulous! I think it would be woderful behind your husband's desk. Think of the statements, both artistically and professionally. I say go for it. ;0)
Oh. My. I am speechless – which for me, is quite unusual. 🙂 I am in love with that tiger. I went to Clemson University, and still live just a few miles from there….we adore tigers in this family! 🙂 That is stunning! If he doesn't think it would look good in his office, I'll be happy to adopt it! Heehee!
Just love anything with crows – so cute. But the Tiger quilt is gorgeous!!
I love the Tiger. The colors are very realistic. Great job. And you are so right about the smaller needle (60 to 70) for machine stitching raw edges. I learned that the hard way.
I have become a "FOLLOWER" of your blog and will visit often.
Take care.
love the crows and the tiger 🙂
Wow. These are amazing. What patience and persistence you have. I am looking forward to seeing the finished tiger.
Both of those are going to be fun quilting. I love the idea of a tiger in the the HR office. CUTE!!!
very fun.
What cute little crows! Your tiger is amazing! Can't wait to see how you quilt this!
I love that crow piece, how fun and your tiger is gorgeous.
