Vintage Ornaments Quilt-Along

Hello! It’s definitely being a long time since I’ve shared what I’ve been up to!

Last Fall I released my latest Christmas collection at Quilt Market in Houston and it’s now arriving in stores. This collection brings back warm memories of wonderful Christmas times with the boys in a quite little town we lived in many years ago. I drew little houses, a favorite subject of mine, sweet snowmen, holiday trees, and couldn’t resist adding little cars and bikes with trees and gifts, of course, also had to have a few snowflakes, and my favorite colors, aqua and green. I designed three new patterns for the collection, Mulberry Lane, Snow Crystal, and Winter Star, and I’ve also designed a fun Quilt-Along featuring Mulberry Lane, called Vintage Ornaments on WeAllSew, the BERNINA blog.

Over the next six months I’ll be sharing the patterns and tips to my favorite technique, fusible applique, and hope you will join the fun! You may be able to purchase a kit for the project at your local quilt shop… ask them to order Mulberry Lane from Contempo/Benartex if they don’t already have it in stock! Or you could contact my local BERNINA dealer in Baton Rouge, My Sewing Shoppe to order yours.

I am also happy to share some pre-cuts of Mulberry Lane… what do you think?

Leave a comment and tell me which of my new Mulberry Lane patterns you like best

and your name will be added to the drawing. Two winners will be chosen on Sunday, June 18th!

Hugs,

Cherry

Snow Crystal is gorgeous! Mulberry Lane is what I hope Christmas is like at my house. I like Winter Star as it seems like something I could pull off! But my real favorite is the Vintage Ornaments quilt pattern!

Snow Crystal is my favorite! I could keep it hanging in my home for the entire winter season (which seems to last 6 months here in the Midwest!). Such beautiful patterns! duchick at gmail dot com

I love snow crystal. Snowflakes are so unique, with each one being different. I always loved that there are never two alike.

This is such a fun little quilt! I just found your blog, and the We All Sew site. Please send me the PDF file for blocks 1 & 2 and the fabric requirements as the blog links don’t work. Thank you!

Is your Mulberry Lane collection still available? I’m having a hard time finding all of the fabrics to make your Vintage Ornament Quilt. It is so beautiful.
